The venezuelan siger-songwriter Ulises Hadjis released today, through his Youtube channel, the music video for “Movimiento”, third single from the Latin GRAMMY nominated artist’s third album “Pavimento”.
The video filmed at the Vivieros de Coyoacán tree nursery in Mexico City features the Chilean artist Gepe as a special guest, who also sings the song with Ulises as a duet; and was directed by Diego Lomelín, prominent filmmaker whom has had films featured at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
“‘Movimiento’ was originally written for Guaco (one of Venezuela’s most popular tropical music bands)… the chorus came to be as some sort of intro on my shows; I played a loop with a kalimba, and over that, I sang ‘Movimiento, palabras tiradas al pavimento’. That’s the idea over which the song developed”, Ulises said.
The video is released right after two Ulises’ successful performances at the Wynwood Art Walk in Miami and in front of more than 5,000 people at the Florida State Fair in Tampa, on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
